So regardless of where I am around the world I will always try my best to stick to my training schedule and fill my body with fresh, nutrient dense food (with occasional treats of course!). We are currently in Pula, Croatia and will be here for the next 7 days. So far Croatia has exceeded our expectations. The people, the food, the adventures….it reminds me so much of home back in the Cayman Islands.
My normal training schedule will consist of exercising 4-5 times a week for 1 hour maximum. However, when I am on holiday I will alter my training schedule to fit my day-to-day activities.
While I am overseas, I will try my best to exercise for a minimum of 3 times per week for 30-45minutes. I tend to do a lot of circuit based exercises because they are short, effective and challenging aka ideal when you are on holiday.
Don’t forget to take advantage of being in a new place. Instead of using public transport…. walk as much as you can. This is a great way to ensure you are meeting your minimum daily steps and increase your activity level outside of the gym.
Here is an Ab circuit that is very versatile and can be completed anywhere.
Aim to complete 5-6 rounds of the circuit
