A few years ago, I moved to Canada and that was the first time I ever had pancakes for breakfast. Since then I just loved having pancakes for breakfast – especially on weekends. After becoming a vegan, I couldn’t imagine not having pancakes for breakfast anymore. So I started searching for a vegan recipe. After trying many different recipes, I finally found one that I’ve been making since then. And the best thing – they’re so easy to make:
1 cup of oats
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp cocoa powder
½ cup water or plant based milk
The batter should have a rather thicker consistency but if it’s too thick, add some water and if it’s too runny add some more oats.
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender.
- Preheat a non-sticky pan and fry the pancakes until they start to turn brown
- Add all the toppings your heart desires.
