Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I’m Melanie Moore an island girl from the Cayman Islands, recent BSc Animal Science graduate and part-time Fitness Blogger. I have a huge sense for adventure and love all things fashion, FOOD, science (nerd alert) and of course fitness.
So why did I decide to start a fitness blog? As a teen growing up, I personally felt that I struggled with my weight. Being scared to eat too much and worrying I would gain weight became a serious insecurity of mine. Growing up in today’s society, body image poses to be a big issue not just for the younger generation but for the older generation as well. This unrealistic goal of a super thin body frame, cinched waist and flat stomach can seem unachievable to many which can be disheartening.
My ultimate goal is to empower women and educate them on the benefits of striving to live a healthy balanced lifestyle. I started my blog in 2015 originally as a platform to share my experiences and what I have learned. I have been told that I have inspired women to workout and change their lifestyle which reinforces my goal and passion to help others. I love making a difference in someone’s life and allowing them to show their confidence that was hidden inside of them for so long.
